wow i thought i was crazy to be asking those same questions myself. turns out i’m not the only one! i actually did a speech once trying to convince my audience that SHARKS ARE NOT EVIL, but no one bought it sadly. (i wouldn’t have read the article if it weren’t for Aurora looking like a mermaid. did you design her yourself?)

Well, personally, this is how I conjured a hypothesis on mermaid reproduction…
concidering the fact that the sexual organs are in the fish-part of the body, merpeople reproduce externally like other fish, and not internally like humans. More than that you can use your immagination! That is the reason I draw mermaids without a navel, because they do not have an umbilical cord!
